About
Robert R. Carter, M.D., FSVS, FACS, RPVI, is trained to manage a broad spectrum of vascular conditions. He offers both open and endovascular techniques, with additional specialty training in wound care and varicose veins. Further, he traveled to Berlin, Germany, for dedicated training in musculoskeletal embolization procedures, bringing those specialized skills and techniques back to the Midwest.
Services provided by Dr. Carter include treatment for aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease and peripheral vascular disease, spider veins, varicose veins, and more. He also provides dialysis access placement and management along with Inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement.
Dr. Carter has been an associate professor at Kansas City University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, taking pride in educating the next generation of surgeons. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. Carter operates under an independent contractor professional services agreement with Kirksville Clinic Corp., d/b/a Northeast Regional Heart Center.
